Working principle of circuit breaker

The core of the circuit breaker is to achieve automatic circuit protection and on-off control through the dual protection principle of electromagnetic tripping and thermal tripping. Under normal power supply conditions, the internal contacts are closed and the circuit conducts smoothly; When a short circuit fault occurs in the circuit, the instantaneous high current triggers the electromagnetic trip mechanism, which quickly drives the contact to open instantly, cuts off the circuit, and prevents short circuit and fire; When the line is overloaded for a long time and the current exceeds the standard, the bimetallic strip will deform due to heat, which will push the thermal trip mechanism to delay tripping and avoid the line and equipment from being burned out due to long-term overload. On this basis, intelligent circuit breakers are combined with electronic monitoring modules to collect real-time circuit data, accurately trigger protection, warning, remote opening and closing, and achieve more intelligent and accurate circuit safety control.
